The auto-roster functionality will be improved as per below.

Please note that the features described below work only if the Auto Roster checkbox is selected in the duty definition.

Extending_Days_OFF

1. In the Crew Calendar, the functionality of the flight assignment pop-up window that appears during dragging & dropping the duties has been modified:

a) when extending “ON” duties, the auto-roster function remains unchanged, functioning as it does currently.

b) when shortening “ON” duties, the auto-roster window pops up, suggesting the removal of the crew from assigned flights and proposing the assignment of other crew members who are on aircraft duty during that timeframe.

c) when “OFF” duties are extended, the system will recommend removing the crew from flights to assign other crew who are on aircraft duty during that period.

2. To the “OFF” duty assignment window, a new function will be introduced, allowing the selection of crew to replace the person on the flight, provided they were previously assigned to flights. This mirrors the functionality in the auto-roster scenario, showcasing a list of crew members and flights on the right side of the flight assignment pop-up window.

3. When adding “OFF” duties using “Quick add duty,” the process functions the same way as the dragging and extending of “OFF” duties, showing a flight assignment window that operates in line with the logic outlined in point 1.
